Rebirth

The Phoenix is a mythical creature and as the story goes, this bird-like creature burns up in ashes only to materialize more vibrant than ever. Considering the start of this TyroZany blog a lot of thought has gone into taking down the old posts…There is too much hate in this world and very little room for positivity. As a wise man told me recently, time is too short to waste and exhaust needlessly.

Welcome to TyroZany…this page is a place to share, express appreciation and give tribute to artists of the world. The world of art can be colorful and vibrantĀ  or dull and drab, just like life. The artists behind masterpieces draw from dreams, experiences, feelings and state of mind. Every work of art affects people one way or the other…explore TyroZany and pay homage to artists from every corner of the world.

Paper Cuts-minus the sting…

After several weeks of back breaking research for the company I work at, this is the time to post images of art pieces that have amazed me. I do remember making some paper cutting for a craft project. Even with the slanting cutter blade with a metal handle all I could ever muster is a lop-sided Odie- Garfield’s frenemy.
When I came across Peter Callesen’s work, the thought of paper cutting is a craft was erased from my mind. I was blown away…

It takes painstaking attention to detail to be able to slice and nick A4 paper for art’s sake. Callesen ’s imagination and vision leaves me shaking my head…Amazing…

Haunting and beautiful…Art by Mia M.

Beautifully executed and artistically done…Mia Michaels is an Emmy winner for a prior choreography for the the same tv show. My mother was a ballerina and she had that certain grace that never left her even when she’d just be on the sidelines and help us in interpretative dance exercises we’d have for school. Early on we were taught to appreciate art and the beauty of it…complex or simple the choreographer is the artist and the canvas is the stage with the dancers as the medium.

What follows is Mia Michaels’ most cheered choreography to the song of Elisa titles Dancing. The mediums are Cameron and Lacey.

Mia Michaels has a very vivid imagination and watching the clips from the last So You Think You Can Dance, Lacey is her muse. Other Mia choreography never really did it for me (or I havent’ surfed enough of it from the batch Lacey competed in), even the competition’s winner Sasha kinda wasted her Mia choreography often looking too technical and out of it- Lacey and any one partnered with her exude that emotions that may range from raw, simple and innocent-the girl always delivers Mia Michaels. Am biased, I know sinceĀ  the dances moved me.

Here’s a piece that means a lot to Mia since it was from within that the choreographer envisioned this dance. This time it will be Neil and Lacey, dancing to ‘Time’…it left judges teary eyed and then some…
